Euro spec turn signals have now failed on BOTH sides. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,

I put euro spec tail lights in my '10 335d when i bought it 2 years ago. My right turn signal failed about a month ago and I replaced it with an entirely new Euro spec cluster. Driving home today, the LEFT one just failed, not two days after I replaced the passenger side!

I can't imagine the Euro spec tail light amber LED turn signals require a lower voltage than the US spec red ones. Everything appears identical...just the LED color is different.

Does anyone have any ideas? In the meantime, as much as I hate red rear turn signals, I'm putting both US spec lights back in. Not worth dropping another $300 on this, even though I think the amber looks better and is much safer on the road from a visibility perspective.
