How long will this reasonably last ? Given that you drive it on the highway, in the hot sun and in rain etc.

Great thread. A friend of mine turned me on to that site just last week. I've already been using it for my door/window trim and last night I did my mirror caps (my car is BSM). This weekend I'm thinking of doing my roof and taping off part of the hood for that "decal" design look. Yes, the best thing about it is that it peels off, and so easy! We did front/rear bumpers and sides of a friend's mini-van (the parts were stock plastic black, just faded) and it was the easiest fix we've ever done. The best part was peeling off the overspray - couldn't believe how easy it cleaned up! I, too, was told to try dipping the whole car in orange. Not now...sticking to my black/pink theme. Oh yea, I've also emailed the guys about custom colored dip. Waiting for their response. Awesome work.

So after I saw you guys last night, you got me thinking. It might be fun to plasti-dip my ride an insane color. Made a thread of my own, give me your vote:

Yes we did plastidip the whole car and omg! its a BMW you cant do that to a BMW comments will come I know. It is not permanent we did it to mess around and will probably wont even last past 6 months. Honestly this would be great for anyone traveling cross country.

Link to the kit: Click Here

Put a DIY together as well for anyone looking for more info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...9#post11864519
