Hi guys I wanted to ask you for your opinions regarding price on a 56 plate BMW 330d.

Specs are as follows:

- 56' reg SE
- Coupe
- Black
- Auto
- Gloss black kidney grills
- 19" BBS LM Reps with new tyres
- Logic 7 speakers,
- Coral red leather,
- Heated seats,
- Remapped
- 36,000 miles
- Full BMW service history
- HPi clear
- Recently MOT'd and taxed
- FK Coilovers
- M Sport rear bumper
- M Sport front lip to be installed and painted
- Factory tints

All other usual standard BMW equipment such as parking sensors, multi-function steering wheel etc

The exterior and interior is in excellent condition.
He's asking for 14k and I've been thinking about this a while but just need some advice from people who may know a bit more

For your time

Please dont spend all day staring at tits though, I need answers

I think it sounds pricey.

Maybe worth 12k. It doesn't have Sat Nav which isn't important to all of us but it does make a difference to the price.

I checked Parkers to give me an idea on price and the same car with 60k on the clock in good condition is worth approx 11,500. I know when a modification is put on the car is wont neccesarily increase the value of the car by the same cost as the part.

Sat nav is desirable but since most of my driving is in London I dont really need it.

One question. You didnt mention prof nav.

Does it have it ? IF it does.. then it's on the money for the mileage. See what the interior condition is and if it looks good value for the money. IE make sure it's not been clocked back and that it really is 36k

The spec sounds good otherwise..

If no nav I'd never pay above 12,500 ..

Theres no sat nav, the interior is mint. No rips or fading leather and looks like a low mileage car. I'll take another look when I see him on Thursday and take it for a test drive. He is a smoker though and I think he's the 2nd owner.

The guy selling it is my big brothers best friend and I'll be doing mileage / background checks just incase I decide on taking it. I only plan on keeping it for 6 months to 1 year and depending on how BMW ownership goes for me maybe even longer.

I'm more worried about whether or not the car is actually worth the money, and I just dont want to lose money on the car when I come to sell as not many people have 14k to spend on a fancy car these days.

Thanks MEGA

14k is a bit rich whatever the spec.

have you had a gander at ebay prices? 06 m sports are close to 10 with top spec. Why spend so much on if your worried about depreciation?

Yeah but with 80k + miles!

I don't think it's realistic to expect to pay 10k for a car with the spec u mention - to me this is a throw away comment!

Good luck

Thanks for these.

Hey guys I think I missed out something important when going over my original post. The car is a coupe if that changes anything ?!

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I feel like such an ass

Yes it does.

Still overpriced though. If you can get it for 13k then I don't think its bad.

I paid 13k for my e90 last november with 50k on the clock and I know I could have got the same car for less (10-12k) if I'd have been patient.

Very valid point about no Nav.
You may not want it, and TBH, the BMW Nav is crap, but it brings iDrive with it, which is desirable.
Remember if you want to sell it on in a year, then the next buyer will be saying the same things.
No Nav, No thanks.
