Correct Vorshlag camber plate for non-M3 E90 with KW V3 coilovers?

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anyone with some experience with KW installs can help me figure out which Vorshlag camber plates I should be picking up to fit with the KW V3 coilovers for a non-M3 E90 as listed here: http://www.vorshlag.com/product_info...roducts_id=199

In chatting with Vorshlag, it sounded like they thought the V3's were linear springs, but I was always under the impression they were progressive.

I'm guessing that I would need to get the 60mm perches and the KW V-series strut style (14T/M14.5x1.5).

Can any KW or Vorshlag dealer or experienced installer confirm for me? Thank you very much!

We spoke on the phone. V3 comes with springs that are 60mm on both ends and the KW struts for the E82/E9x are all (14T/M14.5x1.5).

The V1 usually come with springs that are 60mm at the bottom and OEM sized at the top. V2 can come with either the 60mm-60mm or the 60mm-OEM springs.

Actually, it wasn't me that called, but my shop :-) I figured I'd just do some legwork and see what others knew.

And just to be sure, this is the non-M3 V3 that are 60mm on both ends?

I'm not so sure about that...a conversion kit is required to fit a modular 60mm spring on the KW V3s, and there is machining required to fit the 60mm spring on the height adjuster.

The kind folks at KW got back to me this morning. Here's what they had to say (just sharing for anyone searching on the same topic in the future):

The spring we use are a 61mm ID. I would recommend using any factory
replacement camper plates. Please let me know if you have any other
questions and have a great day.

And built plates for a few hundred more.
