Scotchguard & truck mat

new ride..must protect...

Any suggestions where to get a quality scotchguard / stone guard protection? (without paying $500 bucks to BMW T&C)

Also, looking for a good trunk mat that will fit my 2011 BMW 323i.

any ideas?

Weathertech makes excellent trunk liners and their molded floor liners are awesome as well!

Stone protection? Might as well use Plastidip...seems like everyone is doing that now.

There is a DYI section where you can check out how some members have put on 3M tape to protect their paint from rock chips.

I got my set from here, Very good company and I received everything in timely manner. Everything you need is also included other then Soap and alcohol. The full front end kit with mirrors was ~280$ for mine.

Its like putting plastic on your couch. You will always be staring at the line across your hood and when you wax it youre really waxing plastic. If you take it off after a few years there will be a significant difference as covered part will never have been washed (swirls etc). Ive never understood that stuff but to each his own.

Totally disagree, I have been using clear bra for years on cars, no discoloration, saves a lot of potential rock chip and bug damage

I have never put plastic on any couch. Rubber or latex, yes, but that was an accident and only because I had to leave very quickly...
