BMW Vehicle Coding Group Buy!!

NOTE!!!

We have hit the 8+ mark, so pricing for this Group Buy will be $xx. If you would like to be added to this list, just reply to this thread and i will add you. If you are already added, you can go ahead and send payment of $xx via PayPal to Alex@AKMotorwerk.com and then shoot me a PM or email and we can schedule you in ASAP. Please be sure to add your e90post user name to the "Notes" section in PayPal so i know who you are. Also, payment for this group buy rate needs to be in by Monday, November 29th. You can come for the actual coding whenever it's convenient for you, it can be in December if that's what your schedule allows.

Thanks for everyone's support
-Alex
AKM

Hey everyone in the tri-state and surrounding areas, we here at AKMotorwerk are proud to present a rare group buy on Vehicle Coding. There aren't many vendors on the Forum offering this and the ones that do offer it aren't from the area, so here is your chance to get this done LOCAL using all of our equipment and computers. We are located in Central NJ off of Route 287. You just show up at the AKM shop and leave within about 30 minutes.

For those of you not sure what "Vehicle Coding" means, here is a quick run down. Have you ever forgotten to roll your windows up and you are out of the car already with it off? Now you can with the remote/key fob. Did you ever want your power folding mirrors to fold and unfold on their own when you lock/unlock the car? Now this can be done. Have you ever seen European BMW's with the front amber blinkers off until the blinker is hit (Euro Corner Delete)? Now you can have this option on your car with no wiring or resistors to mess with! All this plus much, much more can be done simply by coding your vehicles settings. All these options are already in your vehicle, but they are turned off or changed for us here in the USA.... Now they can be altered to enable some pretty cool features.

Here's a list of what will be offered in this Group Buy:

- Euro amber/corner delete
- M3 digital Speedometer
- Roll Windows Up & Down with remote key fob and comfort access (if applicable)
- Fold Mirrors In & Out with remote key fob and comfort access (if applicable & if you have power folding mirrors)
- Unlock doors when car is turned off... No more double pull on handle needed!
- Remove I-Drive "Accept" screen when you turn on car (only on older i-drive units)

Now on to the pricing. We normally offer this entire package for $120... In this Group Buy, the pricing is as follows:

1-4 people = $xx
5-8 people = $xx
9+ people = $xx

We will let this Group Buy run for a few weeks, up until Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend. (Monday, November 29, 2010)

You can also pick and chose what options you want. So they all do not need to be done if you do not want a particular one... It is completely customizable. We also offer OEM Alarm activation and coding as well as LCI Led taillight retrofits.

Let's get this list going... If you have any questions, please PM me or shoot me an email at Alex@AKMotorwerk.com

I had mine coded... and you have no idea how the little things go a long way (folding mirror) when you're parked in a parking lot or parallel park in city.

We use BMW specific software. No warranty issues what so ever. Like I mentioned in my original post, all these options come from the factory already in your car, they are just disabled for USA specification... We just enable what's already there

Once the Group Buy is closed (Black Friday weekend) we will be sure to have everyone's payments and you can come in at your convenience. It does not need to be the same day for everyone. We can do Weekdays or on a Weekend as well... whatever works best for you.

Here are a few... also if you want, we can code it. You can look at it and if you don't like it, we can revert it back to stock the way it was

so for an 11 335xi e92 the only things that would apply to me woul be
- Euro amber/corner delete
- M3 digital Speedometer
- Roll Windows Up & Down with remote key fob and comfort access (if applicable)
- Remove "Ding" for seat belt warning
- Unlock doors when car is turned off... No more double pull on handle needed!

is there an ambler delete for the e92s lci

If you have power folding mirrors, we could do that as well. As for the Amber delete, i'm pretty sure it's possible on the e92 lci's, but we haven't tried it on one yet.

So once this coding is done, we need to make sure we emphasize to any dealer visits that we do not want any software updates?? Any updates would wipe out the code?

This list is filling up fast..

That's best to do... although The settings will only be overwritten if a complete coding of the vehicle is done. Usually dealers will only program the section that is giving you issues, not the entire car. Also remember, these options are in the BMW system already, so unless they notice them it shouldn't be changed or overwritten.

If in the very low chance it does get overwritten by a dealer visit, we will re-code an existing customer of ours 1 time for no additional charge!
