Euro tail lamps flash yellow/part #s - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

For those NA E90 owners who are disappointed in the fact that their rear tail lamps flash red instead of the proper yellow, there is a solution at hand.
I have just installed Euro tail lamps which can be ordered from any Canadian BMW dealer through BMW Canada. Hopefully, American dealers should also be able to supply. As far as appearance is concerned, look at the many photos on this site of E90s in Europe, SA, Australia, etc. The yellow interior lens of the turn signal is barely noticeable within the red exterior.
The Euro lamps are interchangeable with the existing tail lamps; they use the same bulbs and bulb holder. The price installed is approx. $400 (US $300) less any trade-in allowance that you might be able to negotiate for the NA tail lamps. Installation time is approx. 10 minutes.

In my view, it's money well spent for the upgrade in visibility/safety.

Why bother to spend $300 USD upgrade to European taillight when you can get a set of blackline for $170 and still get the amber turn signals from Morristown BMW.

Simple answer....some folks might like the the look of the red tails over the blacklines but want the amber turn signal just the same...just like the folks who like ice cream, some like vanilla and some like chocolate...but why would anyone want to spend money for strawberry?
