FS: RSD Electronic Valve Controlled (EVC) Quad Exhaust System

SOLD TO pjdizzle94

For sale is my RSD Electronic Valve Controlled (EVC) Quad Exhaust system (downpipe back aka full cat back) for the E92 335i. The system is constructed of SUS-304 stainless steel in 2.5" diameter and uses heavy duty V-band clamps throughout. Hand built high flow muffler's create a solid, deep sound with valves closed, with valves open sound grows to a healthy roar. In the open position, exhaust flow is favored via a straight through path. The valves are controlled via an interior console mounted switch panel in the cabin utilizing the factory ash-tray component.

System has been upgraded to black tips w/ RSD Laser Etched logos

Yup, it's going for cheap and the exhaust retails for a much higher price point!

The interior switch panel is located inside the cabin utilizing the factory ash-tray component. You would simply hold the open or close position on the switch to determine the position for the valves.

When the valves are open, you utilizes the inner pipes (straight pipes) along with the outer. When the valves are closed you are only using the outer pipes, IIRC.

In short, it'll give you the ability to control the flow of the exhaust which will affect the sound.

valves closed: favors mufflers with some flow to the straight (system will be quiet and is good for long cruises)
valves open: favors straight with some flow to the muffler (will be loud and is best for performance)

I keep the exhaust valve open 90% of the time for everyday street driving. The electronic valves on the RSD Exhaust actually saved me a ton of times from getting exhaust tickets and such. I've been pulled over before and all I did was close the valve and the system became quiet. There are numerous times that this has occurred and I've gotten away from an exhaust fix it ticket ever single time with this trick!

It hasn't been tested on an E93 and I don't think that it'll clear as my system was made specifically for the E92 335i.

Alan, I'm coming down Friday (May 18th). I'm trying to convince Dru and Toby to come with me. I'm not sure if they're going though. Let's meet up if you're free or if I come in early enough, I'll swing by **********s. Maybe, pick up those DP's we talked about awhile back. haha

I am trying to see somehow I can make this fit my e90...just need to find out how much clearance I have behind/underneath rear bumper. I will swing by ltbmw to snap some pic to see how much space i have...cuz i think i can re-route straight pipes through my rear bumper openings and just chop up those tips from mufflers and put some tips that points downward. Anywas, hopefully it is still available until I get some clearance checked out.

Hit up BavarianX as they are the ones doing the install. You can discuss the details with them.
