Adjusting rears ST v1 coilovers
Just finished installing my ST v1 coilovers and trying to adjust the heigh now. How do I adjust the rears without taking the whole damn thing apart? The perch spins as you turn it. We had to take it all apart todo it once but this is too hard to do when doing multiple adjustments...

I had this exact problem with my KW v2's (essentially the same rear setup). What I did to stop the perch from turning was to take a flat bladed screw driver or a pry bar and insert it in between two coils that were closest to the top of spring (below the perch) then I put downward pressure on the pry bar to jamb the perch up in the body/frame hole(the pry bars fulcrum was the coil on the spring). Then simply get your spacers and adjust away.

Thanks man that worked beautifully! I have some more adjusting to do tonight, so I'll take pics and post it so that other ppl w/ ST's and KW's can see it.

ride is pretty close to my sport suspension but stiffer around corners and such. i'd say my FSD/prokit combo that i had before on my e92 was bouncier at certain times.
haven't hit any potholes...i try to avoid those lol

Good to hear. I'm looking at these as well. I just don't want to be slammed or have an overly stiff ride. Just looking for a solution to fill the fender gap, and these are not much more than a Spring and Shock combo.

sorry to bump a semi old/dead thread.
how do you guys make sure each side is adjusted the same. I'm always paranoid that one side is higher than the other. do you count the threads? |

In that picture, where the collar that spins is almost to the top, is that max raise or max drop?
