1M Crash - Bloody Unlucky

To be fair, the guy wasn't going that fast and didn't seem to do much wrong but the conditions and maybe a heavy right foot got the better of him.

Bald tires? That's some random result like something you would see with snap oversteer, but just driving? Weird.

Strange one that. Wonder if he had turned traction control off?

Doesn't seem like an amateur driver as you can see the front wheels are pointed correctly to correct the oversteer, just doesnt seem like he had much space to work with. He definitely lifted off later...

Why I hate turbo cars...sudden burst of torque, instead of nice linear delivery of N/A engine.

This was posted last week.

The guy puts the foot down just as he is coming up to the bridges. Looks like he was wanting to hear his car.

The little dip in the road, wet conditions and booting it when applying steering lock is going to provoke the rear end to move out.

This is exactly what I made of it, you can see the back end plant down as he floors it, with a LSD this can be the result if you don't know how to handle it.

He's on the slightest of bends I'd be pretty disappointed in my 330 if it lost the back end there never mind an M car even with pedal to the floor I don't understand how that slipped unless it was really wet with no TC and bad tyres...

It is wet and there is a bump in the road too.

Remember the 1m has a LSD and you car does not. Your car will put all the power to the tyre with least grip and spin it up.

The LSD will still be putting power through both wheels and that can result in pushing the rear of the car around faster.

It is not hard to proke the tail in wet conditions at that speed with that power.

Not so much to capture accidents but to avoid scams it would be very nice to have a BlackVue DR400G HD... Although for that money you could get a GoPro (but its obviously not as dedicated a device as this...)

Collision detection when parked is a nice feature

ya clearly he wot to get out of the lane, you can see the car squat and hit a lil bump and lost traction? or he saw the AW e90 m3 on the left and wanted to do a mating call by down shifting to prove hes an aggressive racing machine?

Watch carefully from 57secs, you can see him dab the brake, back off, move right, still slowing, then tug left and nail it, he's lining it up to show boat round the left hander after the slip as he sees it's clear.

POWER + RWD + LSD + WET = risky.

In the wet mine spins both wheels in third easily, 4th at times, and even straight ahead the back kicks out of line very quickly in the wet.

I feel sorry for the 2 motorists in the LH lane who were the victims of this guys bravado/poor car control/lack of judgement on conditions etc etc.

Wideboy in 1M deserves all he gets if drives like a tw@t when traffic density and conditions clearly warrant serious moderation.

Just my 1p worth

What is funny is he doesnt even get the lock on at all until hes about 20 degress out of line.
And then its very little even as he's completely rotating out of control.

If going for some 'drifting' dont be dumb and get the lock on early - slower you travel the more lock you need
I drop clutch and am already feeding lock as it goes around, if you snooze you lose lol!

Kid driving a car with too much power and too little experience and not within the given conditions.

No sympathy for him; feel sorry for the others who have to deal with the outcome of his stupidity.

Wonder if it was his car or daddy's...?

What a great world we live in.

Wonder if the video driver had Bach playing in the background or added it later. A little over the top maybe...

Exactly this. TC was definately off. I never take mine off fully for road driving in very wet conditions anymore - slighty too much throttle on a bend in the wet and you'd better be ready to react fast.
