2006 325i to Dual or Quad exhaust with bumper
Has anyone done this?
I want to purchase a rear bumper for my 325i that will hold dual or quad exhaust. Also I want the dual or quad exhaust that is plug and play to fit that bumper. In the front I would like M3 front - this is already available on eBay. If you have done this please tell me how to accomplish this or point me to someone who can. |

Getting an OEM exhaust from a 335 would be no problem but the piping will not fit because the chassis setup is not the same.
see the diagram for 335 http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...83&hg=18&fg=10 In simple terms, 2 pipes come out from the engine and then connect to a center muffler. From that point they split via 2 pipes to two small exhausts. now the 328/325 http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...11&hg=18&fg=20 Again you got two pipes coming off the engine and then eventually connecting to the center muffler. From that point you have one large pipe going to your single (all be it large) exhaust. Up to the mid muffler the setup is similar but after that point you would need to do some modding to get a dual pipe setup.

Like I said before it will work but you will need to do some modfications first since your car's chassie is not setup to have dual exhausts. I personally don't think it's worth it, you won't get any gains from it.

In regards to the bumper: using the OEM 335i bumper would probably be the cheapest and simplest solution for you. If you're okay with spending a little extra, an M-tech rear a quad diffuser would be your best bet.
Exhaust wise, I'd recommend PMing user phozenstone. He's done the dual exhaust conversion on his N52 e92.
