smoke and back fires

so i have been smoking pretty good for about three weeks and replacing turbos on saturday, its been running fine, but saturday due to a couple cars I ran it pretty hard about 3 times, and it seems to be smoking a little more than it was, and I have had 2 pretty good back fires on deceleration, which i have never had before, could this be something else along with turbo seals...smoke is def oil, oil level has been good for 3 weeks...I am FBO and meth

thanks in advance, just want to cover all bases this week end when we replace turbos

Is there a question in there somewhere?

Your seals are blown. Yes it gets worse the more you drive it.

Are you asking whether the backfires are related to the smoke? As in, when you get new turbos, the backfires will cease? I dunno, that's a good question. Oil burns, fuel pops. I wouldn't think oil would backfire in the exhaust even under extreme heat. Oil takes compression and heat to explode (such as in a diesel).

Still don't see how you would be creating smoke from that. E85 should lean you out not make you rich.
