330d calipers

Hello All,

I've purchased some 330d calipers that I intend to fit on my 320d. Will my old 17" Msport alloys fit over them, was thinking of keeping them as winter wheels if they do,

Regards

Ian

If they are the same as the 335i brakes then no they won't fit as I believe 18's minimum.

Yer they are big boys and I'm sure 17s are the smallest you can have with them. Also I believe your rears are already the same size as the 330 and 335 so you won't need to change them.

Not sure on the rears as I believe the 320's run 300mm rear discs with a smaller caliper whereas the 335's runs 336mm rear disc and larger caliper.

Yes they will fit

I have a 330d M Sport LCI (2011) and I have a set of 17" winter alloys which fit fine. These are OEM style 194 with 225 tyres all round.

Thanks for the reply guys. These are the brakes. I'm not to fussed about the rears, the fronts are for looks rather than breaking power. I got some 19's and the standard calipers look tiny

I think it depends as some 330d's appear to have slightly smaller 330mm discs as opposed to the 335 ones which are 348mm.

You have the 335d/i calipers there which do look nice in blue. E90 330d came with the smaller caliper and discs but E92/E93 330d came with the same caliper and disc size as 335d/i.

I'm sure you I've seen 335's with 17" standard wheels.

Are these painted and if so what colour, might do mine like that instead of silver.

Thanks for the replys guys. Think I've sold the alloys now anyway. A lad from this forum is coming up from the south today to buy them. I'll prob buy a set of 18's for the winter.

Yes I've sprayed them in VHT blue, standard colour from eBay.if you google high temp paint is the one with the blue lid. I've lacquered them also as the blue is a Matt colour. Then I've sprayed the middle bits silver,

Cheers Ian

I must admit you have done a very nice paint job on the calipers. They look the dogs. You must stick some pics up once fitted.

Don't think it's dependant on E90/E92/E93 but agree 17's will fit though

335D front calipers are bigger then 330D ones. Rears are the same on both

17" alloys will fit over 335d brake setup
