I think 20" wheels with a lip look pretty good on a lowered e90 like I've got.

Too big.
I have 20"s on my wife's Magnum.
That wheel it too big. The e90 wheelbase is to short for such a large wheel.
Also the profile of the tire would have to be a rubber band.
19" is the way to go. IMHO

i have 20" super concave dpe wheels on my porsche and it loosk amazing , i just dont know how 20" dont look that good on the e90 , maybe because of the tires profile or the drop?

It really depends on the style of the wheel and the car. Too many variables to generalize.

Sorry for the big pic but this is NJ330i's setup on 20's that he posted. I think they look perfect! And remmib's car is the poster child for 20's on an e90!

20" wheels will look big if the car isn't lowered. However, if you do plan or already have the car lowered, it'll look fine!

Hi,

I still don't think the e9x is a big enough car to pull it off, but then YMMV.
I am definitely doing 19" on my e90 when the current tires wear.
Remember the 20" tire/wheel combo is going to be heavy. This will have an adverse affect because you really want to reduce unsprung weight not increase it.
