135i 335i Intake Valve cleaning - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Now taking appointments for intake valve cleanings. Process takes about 2 hours. Cost is 400.00 with out new intake gaskets 440.00 with new gaskets. Evenings and weekend appointments available. The cleaning is done by my BMW tech using the BMW blasting system with walnut shells. If you are interested please contact me asap for more information.

every 50k or so. Depending on the quality gas, gas treatments, OCC and if your using meth with prolong it a little.

Is the price the same for the 335d?

Luther how viable is this for someone with almost 70k? Will you see a big jump in smoothness and so forth...

at 70k you definitely need it. I have done a car with roughly 36k on it and they were not as bad as cars with 60 plus but there was definitely carbon build up. You will notice an increase in MPG throttle response smoother idle and some have seen an increase in hp by a little. You should definitely consider doing it..

Have not seen a problem with the diesel engines thus far so as of now we have not done any and neither has my tech at the BMW dealership.

Check the diesel subforum. More than a few owners had heads and intakes replaced under warranty due to carbon build-up. Also reported on Bimmerfest.

yes. it is 6 little rubber gaskets no big deal.
