Door Jamb Stickers?
I had my driver side quarter panel repaired at the begining of the year (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=611156).
I'm very happy with the actual body work, it's almost like it never happened.. aside from one minor detail: The informational stickers that are usually on the driver's side door jamb are completely missing. You know, there's a black one with the VIN and GVWR information and a couple more with like the tire PSI and stuff. Anyhow, I didn't even notice they were missing until I brought it in for service and my SA pointed it out to me and asked if it had been in an accident. I explained what happened and he said he didn't think it would pass the lease end inspection or CPO inspection with them missing when my lease is up, which is in July. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I contacted the shop about it and they said they would have to order new replacement stickers. However, apparently because the one sticker includes your VIN, the place they order it from requires a picture of the original before they can reissue a new one. Since I went through insurance, the shop is trying to contact the appraiser to see if he has a picture from before the work was done. I went through all my pics and don't have one either. Keeping my fingers crossed. I can't remember what the other stickers were exactly. Can someone post a picture of their door jamb stickers with a clear readable view of all the stickers? I just want to make sure they get them all and in the correct position/orientation. I found some pics on cars.com and whatnot, but they're all from far away and you can't actually read the stickers...

Door jam stickers
The one with the VIN is behind the lower right hand side of the door, on the jam, the picture is inverted, so the sticker is actually horizontal

Does anyone happen to know if I will pass the lease end inspection without the stickers? How about the CPO inspection? Are having these stickers on and in the proper place important?

Those stickers are very important. It has the VIN, the MFG date and location, the tire pressures for the car. I don't know about inspections or CPO, but if I was a buyer and I saw the stickers were missing I would immediately assure the car was in an accident and the people who repaired it did a sloppy job.

Take it to your dealer and have them replace it. I had mine replaced under warranty since the original was scratched up when I bought the car, my car was year old when I had it done. It required me leaving the car for a day when somebody from BMW NA was at the dealer. They verified that all of the VIN's matched then they ordered a reprint of the sticker. When the sticker came in and the BMW NA person was at the dealer again they re-verified the VIN's again and replaced the sticker.
