My car hates going WOT

Well for the past month, my car have been giving me real issues when going WOT and letting off and even worse when shifting.

Whenever i go full throttle and let off, the car falls on its face and feels like i jammed the brakes for a second and then let off. When i do a full 3rd to 4th pull of fast shifting, it does the same, falls on its face when letting off and picks back up when i hammer it again in gear. When i shift fast its even worse because i shock the drivetrain so much with these "brake slams".

Life would be a lot easier if it just threw a code and let me know what i could replace to make the car right but of course, our pesky BMWs like to make everything a challenge. So far in logs that ive sent to Terry, nothing has really showed up as being abnormal.

Ive been thinking that it could be multiple things. The wastegates are getting jammed closed for a brief second and with the throttle closed, causing this buck.

The second thing im thinking it could have to do with the boost solenoids not reacting fast enough and causing this problem.

The third which is highly unlikely is a possibility that something with the Vanos system is crapping out when i let of causing the car to jerk when the timing goes back to normal.

I was wondering if anyone had any similar issues or if anyone has any input to help me figure this out.

Its gotten to the point now that i dont even want to drive the car because i cant even push it if i want to. Whats the point of driving

Do you have the same problem when you uninstall the JB4?

I actually havnt tried uninstalling it but in map 0 it is still having the problem. I have had the JB in since september with no problems until about a month ago. I even got a new G5 board from terry too so i know its not the JB and must be something mechanical.

It might be easier to just take the JB out and take it the dealership (or other BMW repair shop) and have them trouble shoot it... (And take the JB out just for diagnostic sake, not because the dealership will care... you're out of warranty anyways, right?)

I have the same issue with my jb4, under about 90% throttle she pulls real hard and smooth but wot it does that bogging / brake feeling and then picks right back up.

It's the throttle blade closing when you shift
Try shift slower or at 6k

Also could be a diverter valve problem with all the added boost

the thing i dont understand though is if so many people are experiencing this then why doesnt Terry have a fix for the wastegate closing and slamming the car down??

also i havnt changed anything recently besides the CP and HKS BOV bc i thought they could be a possible issue. Why would it randomly start doing this now??
