2013 3 Series (E92/E93) July Production Changes - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

All Models
Please note the following changes applying to all MY13 July production models:

- The “snowflake” button for air conditioning will be changed to “A/C”
- The “CD” button on the iDrive controller will be changed to “Media”
- xDrive badge will be re-located from the front fender to the left side of the rear trunk lid for all Sedans, Coupes, and Convertibles.

Navigation system updates (609)

Starting as of July 2012 production, the next generation Navigation Professional system (609) will be available on the 5 Series Sedan, 5 Series Gran Turismo, 7 Series Sedan and ActiveHybrid 3. This new system offers faster processing and an enhanced design over the current system and incorporates several great new features:
• Streamlined radio/media menu structure
• Improved navigation submenu structure
• Advanced Real-Time Traffic Information
• Weather information in navigation map
• POI enrichment*
• GoogleTM autocomplete*
* requires BMW Assist Convenience Plan.

The cd button did kinda seem stupid to me. I'll mod it!!!! Jk I don't feel burned yet until they announce all sorts of custom colors and free performance upgrades at the end of next year.

does this mean e92 can be ordered past 7/12? i was under the impression this was the end of the e92/93 production run...

E92/E93 production continues past 7/12. There is a MY2013 E92 and E93.

Yes, 2013 335is starts production in July.

I will be posting the MY2013 E92 and E93 ordering and pricing guides in a few minutes.

I liked the snowflake button.

I think having symbols instead of having it spelled out is nice and classy.

Is the premium sound package only for the 328 and 335, or also for the M3's? That is cheaper than what I thought the premium sound package on the M3 was priced at.

The real question is, will I have an ashtray in a 335is that is on its way to "Port of Exit" as I speak?

I want an ashtray, just in case.

My 2013 335is I picked up 5-6 weeks ago came with the ashtray instead of the pocket/bin.
