Yup, I'm confirmed in the black group for June 15-16.

Can't wait to hit the track again. Lime Rock was fantastic last month!

I want to hit Watkins Glen in August or September.

For July, I'm thinking of taking a trip to Summit Point main (weekend of 7, 8) and then Lightning the weekend of August 4,5. Anybody interested in joining?

I might be down for the NJMP trip in August. You should come to VIR in July instead of Summit - NASA is running there the 17-18 I think...I'll be there.

Anyone staying overnight near the track? I'm probably getting a hotel for the night of the 15th. Don't really want to drive 1-1/2 hours + after a day at the track (I have to go through Philly to get home - ugh!)

I usually stay at the Fairfield Inn (Marriott). It's a good/safe choice at ~$100-110/night but I'm trying the cheaper Country Inn for the 1st time this weekend, will let you how it works out. Hotel charges are eating into my car maintenance budget!!!

I usually stay at the Quality Inn. Not the best place, but only $80 per night.
I know the Fairfield Inn. Very nice, but the room rates I just checked are $140 per night.

VIR in July is always 120 degrees and humid for some reason. Was the case last year with NASA and the years before. I don't think I've ever driven in such hot/humid weather lol.
