Yeh, I'm used to 100 degrees but dry out in CA. We'll see how the ER competition coolers do in July. At summit a few weeks ago I limped due to a boost issue, not quite sure what, but as soon as I was solo (no instructor) it went away...it's not just temps that tame our 335's...

I've been to Watkins Glen and helped out with the Bimmerworks Race Team for a 4 hour sprint race (we came in 3rd overall), but haven't been able to drive the track yet. It's a very historic race track and I stayed in Seneca Lodge, which is where the F1 teams used to stay back in the day.

I know the Fairfield Inn. Very nice, but the room rates I just checked are $140 per night.

I'll try the Quality Inn for next month's events. The Country Inn is out, not a good stay (I guess it's true, you get what you pay for)

I usually stay at the Quality Inn in Millville. No, it's not a fantastic place, but definitely in a better part of town and lots of other BMWs will be there as well. Only $80 is a bonus too. Since we have so many people going, we could all probably share rooms.
