my 10x10ft tent fits in the back seat over my 4 tires, fyi for next year.

I managed to switch my track day from tomorrow to today, Sunday weather looks horrible. good day so far, 55f and cloudy.

Don't think it's a big deal, was in the rain last time and I just ended up hanging out in the classroom or the garage. We'll be fine and I'm pretty sure once the hurricane passes there won't be another stom following.

road flooded, roof damage, no power since 10pm last night, everybody's ok though.

Very eerie feeling driving around town, no power anywhere, all stores closed, debris everywhere. It's like that new TV series (forget the name) were the world lost electricity but we're on the first week or so before fuel runs out...Hope they restore power soon.

Half my neighborhood lost power; my half didn't. There's a live power line down across one end of my street. So many roads are closed right now ... it's a nightmare to go places but the situation is improving. A few miscellaneous items in the backyard are somewhere I didn't put them including my BBQ ...I have no idea how the wind moved that thing. Now it's just miserable outside instead of dangerous and miserable.

for 3-4 hours you wait in line, you're better off driving 45 min north and filling up there. the round trip would only be 1/4 of a tank. that's what i've been doing on my commute (northern jersey is just as bad as nyc).

Fun weekend guys!

It was in the upper 30/lower 40 degree range all weekend, it felt pretty raw outside. Some sun today but that was all, it didn't help much. We were out in our winter coats and gloves and stuff.

Lightning the first day was uneventful - lots of trains in the beginning though. I corded one of my R1s the last session (finally). Getting point bys from Porsche drivers is like pulling teeth sometimes.

Thunderbolt today was fun ... I ran street tires, I made my instructor throw up (outside my car thankfully, he said it always happens at this track), I power slid the octopus, I had a near-miss with a Boxster Spyder that lost control, and I went off roading on turn 7.

^^ had a blast, me and Will beat both out respective best times. I pulled a 1:37 at Thunderbolt. Actually managed to boil the fluid by 3rd session, missed couple apexes and trailbraked around half the track lol.

Edit: and Sunday. I changed the angle on the camera. Something else changed because my other sessions were washed out with the sun.

I need to make a custom mount.

Great way to end the season; pulled good times and met some great people. My brake problem has finally been solved too, so there goes one of my excuses. Freaking cold btw; don't know if I'd do another Nov again, but cooling was tip top.

Still f*cking out of power in my hood damn it
