Track/show/event cars, maybe.
Street-driven 3 series, nah.

But I'm not a fan of that look.

How do you quantify "tasteful"? According to whose standards?

I meant quantify...as in define the term of application...hard numbers supporting the term "tasteful". You have to set a standard to accurately categorize it as "tasteful".

Point being...taste is not objective. What you may find tasteful is appaling to some. e.g. painted red calipers as opposed to other colors such as lemon or lime. Where do you stand on that? And what makes your taste better or worse than another?

That one in particular would make you look like a douche (in my opinion, of course). A not so flashy, somewhat funny decal I'm okay with.

These always make me lol;

BMW fonts are kinda hard to read ... not RICEy enough ... not classy too. Kinda seem to be in a limbo.

When I see the windshield-type stickers, I am brought back to the mid to late 80s when we used to see Firebirds, Camaros, Mustangs, and Thunderbirds with either the Ford or Chevy logo on it saying "Fear This!". aka it's kinda whiskey-tango.

What about the Calvin peeing on a car brand sticker? I never quite understood the "name of the car" sticker or decal...is it there to remind people (what kind of car it is that they are seeing), is it for the owner (so they don't forget the car they are driving)...maybe it is for the car as a reminder to what it is???

When you a se a Mustang with a huge Mustang sticker...BAM! You know for a fact that you are looking at a Mustang...no doubt about it! it's right their...it says Mustang...yep! Now put "Porsche " on that bad boy and you are really gonna f-up some people's minds!

decals are the best bang for your buck fun things to do on your car. Its the cheap thrill that you receive once its planted....the 5 to 20 feet step back you do as you tilt your head at a 45 degree staring at what you just accomplished. Then you remove it a couple weeks later. We all go thru this decal phase.

that bmw windshield decal looks cheap. even more so because its not in the "regular" font that bmw uses, so now it looks even more bootleg status.

gloss black roof looks good tho
