Im thinking of putting these 20" RS6 rims on the RS4 (see pics below) - but having them the same colour as the yellow RS4 cab or colour coding them Daytona Grey - thoughts??

You're asking us??? Judging from your past creations I'd just do what you think - you've got quite a good track record behind you.

Thats very kind of you Rog - i think?? I assume that was a compliment? Or were you being sarcastic, LOL!!??

Reason i was asking is that i want to "Hooperise" the RS4 but desperately don't want to go chavvy and ruin it - and if I'm honest i think i slightly over did it on the Merc with the 20" AMG's - having said that the RS4 already runs 19's so its not a huge jump and they are genuine Audi RS6 rims and not replicas - so its in keeping i guess??

Thanks Amar. By the way, is your Merc ever down my way in Chigwell?? Its just that i keep seeing a C63 AMG in the next road to us and it has AMAR or OMAR in the number plate.

I think the 20's will suit the RS4 much better than the Merc did (seem to remember saying it at the time and getting flamed ). The RS6 wheels look great on the RS4 - go for it.

And yes, it was a compliment, still love the look of your 'old' 911 & M3 .

I know who that is and he lives local, also had an F430.

In regards to the RS6 wheels, I say paint them black to give the car an even more aggressive look. Gloss black mind rather than matte.

I used to look at those pics as well when I had mine. Remember they are running coil over which means dumping the Standard suspension system. And the Milltek is amazing, you'll love it!

Thanks for input. With regard the guy with the C63 AMG, does he know a friend of mine with a white Focus RS? Its just that the AMG is always parked very close to his house and theres also an individual blue colour E92 M3 that lurks around there too - they must all know each other.

Yep, coil overs are my next plan of attack after the Milltek. Definitely want to drop the ride height a little, esp at the front. But I'm running the wider 275 tyres all round (Eagle F1 Assy 2's) plus H&R spacers - so i will either have to lose the spacers or reduce the width of tyres i put on. But i absolutely love how wide and squat she looks from behind!!

Steve, looks great and it sounds like you are enjoying the new car. It's always good to see you posts and the work you put into your mods. Alloys in Gunmetal would be my choice.

Looks ace with RS6 rims on, how will it affect the handling and ride mate do you think?
