Looking for an upgraded clutch for my FBO xi. I've read a lot about a lot of brands and everything, but which is the best one in your opinion?
Daily drive car, must be really driveable. I want the clutch AND flywheel.
Any of you who had the same needs and like the choice they made?

Go for act street clutch with stock flywheel

Yep! If you change your flywheel, you will loose a bit of drivebility!

IMO this is the most overly-heavy flywheel I've ever driven. I think you could cut the weight in half and almost anybody could get used to it in a day and consider it completely driveable. I can't wait to get rid of it.

I've used a lot of ACTs on other vehicles and they work well for the cost, but I plan on doing an expensive clutch on this vehicle that hopefully will last longer under heavy use while being more refined.

Not contradincting myself, by driveability I mean a clutch/flywheel combo which can still be daily driven. It doesn't have to be as smooth and quiet as stock.
ACT seems to be a good choice, but I'd want to hear about others, which are clutch/flywheel combo.

if you take your car to the drag strip then don't get a lightweight flywheel. it will make it 10x harder to launch. i've had tons of awd cars over the years and when you go for a lightened flywheel, you end up bogging the launch

It's true that if you're traction limited (RWD on street tires) a light flywheel makes the "bog or burn" window even narrower and harder to get a decent launch. On AWD or slicks a lighter flywheel launches just fine. You just add more RPM and use a 2-step.

I want an advice for what to buy.
I am aware of the consequences that the lightweight flywheels brings up, don't need to be teached about it.
