M Tech Front bumper Rep?

Hey all, I just bought a 2010 335i e92 coupe alpine white. I didn't even have it for 2 full days when a racoon ran out in front of me and hit my front bumper. It busted my stock bumper and rolled up underneath the car and hit the radiator as well. I am thinking since i have a insurance check for just over $3000 dollars that i might as well not only get the car fixed but upgrade as well. I have been looking around and comparing the m3 bumper to the mtech bumper for the e92 and i believe i like the way the mtech looks
better then then m3. My question is does anyone know where i can get an aftermarket mtech front bumper for a good price that has like 99% fit or fits really well vs going with tischer which is oem and is alot more money. I have saw m3 bumpers for as little as $250 that are suppose to fit really good. Just hoping i could find the same kind of deal on a aftermarket mtech. I also am thinking of maybe doing the m3 sideskirts and well as mtech rear bumper and diffuser as well and replacing my intercooler with a helix or EvolutionRacewerks one. Any help with some suggestions with any of this would be great as i am a new bmw owner and don't have much experience with any of this. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat currently with my '07 335i e90. Got a quote for $2700 to replace the damage to mine last week and was thinking on my way home instead of getting the stock bumber replaced that I should look into the m3 or mtech but I'm on the fence of which one I like better. decisions... decisions... don't know which way to go.

Keep us updated on how yours ends up.

You won't ever find an M-tech or M3 bumper for $250 that looks and fits good. That just isn't going to happen. There are more M3 reps being made these days than M-techs so your best bet for a decent rep would be in the M-3 version from a reputable Vendor here on the Forum.

My buddy's company who is a vendor on here will have another batch of mtech (e92 and e90) coming in within about 2 weeks. I have already bought one and can't wait to paint it. Comes with vents and stuff!! So clean.

yeah which vendor indeed? i think i have decided that i like the mtech better for sure! just hoping that i can get it for under $1050 that tischer has the oem ones for. Im also thinking about doing the mtech rear bumper but will probably go with the m3 side skirts if i can find some really good fitting ones of those if someone has any suggestions! I want to get this done asap so i will keep you guys posted and post some pics when its all done.

I believe modmy3 is the cheapest for m3 rep bumper. I think it's 350.

Also sell a vorsteiner style lip for 350 as well that combo is sick for 700.

If you have a $3000 check, why not go OEM? Its only a difference of about $200 bucks from OEM so why not? With that check you can get the OEM mtech, with a bigger aftermarket intercooler and probably still have $$ left over.

Even though i have a $3000 check and i can get full mtech kit for $2000, i would rather just have mtech front and rear bumper and go with m3 side skirts plus im considering either getting a evolution racewerks or helix intercooler (not sure which one yet) all of these parts alone is gonna close to the whole $3000 not including the cost of getting this done at a shop with labor and paint/material costs. I also have to replace my engine shield and some pieces that got damaged as well. Im trying to get the best deal on getting the parts without sacrificing quality so i dont have to spend a fortune on top of the $3000 that i have a check for to get all of this done.

got my m3 rep off ebay for $350 + $100 shipping and it fit like a glove. Didn't have to cut or trim anything.

Hrm i don't see any for the e92 on his website. Either way this company is local to me so it would save me the money in shipping and if its anything like the reps he brought in for the e90 I would only buy from him. The company he gets it from included vents and fitment was OEM. Cleanest rep I have seen to date. I am probably on his nerves since I check in like every other day lol.

The very first one came in on friday and we test fitted it on Sunday. We have ordered 20 more which will arrive in 45 days and started taking pre-orders to keep things organized. Currently there are 14/20 spoken for via pre-orders.

They haven't been added to the website just yet simply because we are giving the first run to E90Post members ONLY as an exclusive incentive.
