i popped the hood and i pinched the two vacuum hoses connected to the canister/ reservoir. one of them felt stiff and the other one was "soft", like as if there wasn't any pressure going through. Is this normal?

sorry I don't have an answer, I realized my fault codes came since I had just installed downpipes and then went to the track, I suppose the computer had not adjusted to the DP's and was giving me overboost fault code. I never got the code again on the street and after a month and a half I went to the track and didn't get any codes. Been to two track events after that with no fault codes.

Not to resurrect the dead thread or anything, but I just started getting these two exact codes like you (P30FE and P3100) and I cant seem to figure out what it is. No recent changes in my setup, running DP's and a JB4 as well. You ever get these again?

I never got the code again. I still have the car and still running strong. It seems that my car adjusted to the DPs and never had an issue again. Sorry I can't be of any help.

you wont believe me, i had exact same code as you. suspected vacuum pipes / something blocking the wastegates/vanos / injectors /hpfp and exhuast o2 sensors.

i changed my spark plugs the other day as it was due and i loaded my stage 2 + aggressive to try and see if the problem comes back up so i can rule is not the plugs...

im so surprised that none of the code pop back up after 3 days driving and a few WOT everyday.

I'm having this same problem occasionally only under partial throttle. P30FE - boost pressure too high, wastegate 1 clamped.
I've been investigating this issue for some time now, and when I would monitor WGDC bank 1 it would sometimes sit at 0 or 100 or fluctuate between the two for just a few seconds.. which led me to believe it was the wastegate control solenoid. I have not replaced them yet, however I did switch the two banks, and it's still showing the problem in 'wastegate 1'

Looked into this problem some more, and when I monitor WGDC in either bank 1 or 2 (they are both doing it simultaneously) it will occasionally sit at "0" if I'm off the throttle. As soon I as I give it a little bit of boost, it will shoot up to high 90's - 100 and when I let off, it shoots down to 0 again. It will do this for maybe 20 sec to a minute, then go back to normal. Although I can literally sit there and watch the WGDC tell me it is at 0, when I give it gas, the car spools, starts to pull, and builds boost perfectly fine like there is no issue.
I have no clue what it could be.
Very very strange.

I am having this exact same issue I cant figure out what it is. another thing I noticed is that when I turn my car off and I have the hood popped up I hear a "woossshhh" sound like air is escaping from someplace.

I think that is normal. Just pressure being released from the system.

I'm going to try reverting back to an older tune before I start replacing parts.

Ever figure out what it was for you?
I am still having this problem. From the research I've done, the only people who have fixed this problem from replacing the solenoids would only get limp mode when going WOT.
Not the case for me, its completely random. It happens while cruising, light throttle, after a hard pull, any random time really.
I already checked the function of the wastegates and they worked perfectly. Checked all the vac lines, connections, canisters, and tested the vacuum during operation pre and post solenoid, and nothing seemed unusual.
