Weird Braking feeling downhill

Yeap, as weird as it sounds, I have notice every time I brake fast (over 50) going downhill the brake pedal seems to be stiffer and higher, the car brake as usual, but I was wondering why this difference in feeling, or is it just my car ?

I'll be honest, I've never noticed but then again I don't do a lot of stopping while going downhill. But I suspect it might be this:

hummm... kind of make sense, because the feeling is like the car choose witch pressure to apply independent of how hard or soft I stepped on the brake.

Nice move bmw, the only downside is getting used to let the car do the work for you...

Most newer cars have brake assist for downhill
And throttle assist for uphill
Fairly standard on lots of manufactures
