TPMS Battery?

Is there a battery for this system? If so can it be located easy and checked? And changed w/o the stealership's help?

It does have a battery. However, I think you have to (or at least it's just as easy/cost effective) to replace the whole TPMS.

The battery is supposed to last an average of 7 years...I just checked one on an 08 and 10 e90. Those bastiches are sealed

Check with tire rack, they sell TPMS sensors.

you can code TPMS system like turn it off and it will not reed tire pressure

mmm my sensors are good its the control module that is messed up i think somehow the msg isnt getting relayed from sensors to main center

in this case, you dont know for sure if your sensor is good or not, there are no separate sensor/control module, its 1 piece + a metal valve stem

when i got new tire a month ago they chk all the sensors and they were reading back, but for some reason it still says tpms malfunction
