N52 Valve Cover gasket

Hello All,
I'm new to this forum, and would like to give additional information to the valve cover gasket DIY'ers. I have access to Alldata and want to share this info to make the job much easier.
First, remove the bolts marked 1 and pull the cover 2 off. Much easier if you gently pull the silver piping from of the firewall.
Second, remove the nut inside the cowl cover, also marked 1.
Third, tape off your hood 1, lift off the cover 2, remove bolt 4, from cowl 3.
Now you will be able to partially lift the cowl off of the firewall, and place a spacer in between. I used a half in drive extension. This will give you the additional clearance you need to work the valve cover in and out of the engine compartment
The coolant reservoir is relocated, unplug the coolant level sensor, and pull the reservoir forward towards the headlight, without disconnecting the hoses. I bungeed mine to the bottom of the bumper cover.
The valve cover will slip right out. It does still get a little stuck with the PCM enclosure.
Don't let the eccentric shaft motor spring out, that can cause damage to the eccentric shaft. The motor has a 4mm hex opening in the back. Turn your Allen socket clockwise, by hand until you feel it stop. Undo the motor screws, and now you turn the Allen counter clockwise, the motor will push itself out. reverse to install.
Thanks all, and hope this info helps
