What do I need to install 3.5 bar Tmap sensor

I'm currently running MHD and I want to upgrade to a 3.5 bar. I went on BMS and they sell an adapter but I don't understand, it says n54 and also JB4 ( http://www.burgertuning.com/N54_JB4_upgrades.html ) . Do I need JB4 to use this adapter? Also, I saw the sensor on ECStunning website but I can't seem to find one compatible with 335 N55 motor. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you

It isn't compatible for the n55 because it is meant for the n20 engines. I thought "n20" was just a name but then realized the another engine lol.

You need that tmap on ecstuning and the adapter from BMS as far as I understand. If this is wrong someone please correct me 😬

You need the BMS adapter if you have a type A connector. If you have type B you do not need an adapter. You shouldn't need a JB4 if your MHD flash is setup right. There is also a DIY to move the pins on a type A connector so you dont need the BMS adapter.

Do you happen to have the DIY link handy?

I have a 2011 335 X-drive, with the Type B Harness (I assume you have this harness). As such, I did not need the adapter for the Type A Harness, which I think is typically for earlier models. You do not need a JB4 to use the N20 3.5 bar TMAP, or the adapter (if applicable). After it's installed, you just need to select the appropriate option in MHD. Also, not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I would set that option after you physically install the TMAP, but before you actually start the car (I installed it, started the car, then changed the settings. This resulted in rough start and some errors that resolved themselves after I made the appropriate settings on my JB4)

This is the N20 TMAP I have:

Hope this helps
