Day driving lights (Halo's) amber, what do I need to do for them to be white?

Hi all,

As you can probably tell from the title I am not the most knowledgeable person on these forums so would appreciate your help.

I have a 320i bmw e92 which has the day driving lights, 2 halos on each side.

Now mine are currently an amber colour and everytime I see another BMW with those halo's white I get really jealous.

I initailly thought that I would need to replace the whole headlight but someone said it is just a simple bulb change...

Could you guys/girls please confirm?

Many thanks in advance

Yes, you need to change the bulbs to LED. But it will not be as bright as the new 2012 up models. If you really want the bright one, you need to customize your headlight & replace the halos with LED rings.

Have you seen this comparisons already?

They're having a sale right now for 160.00. Id get them now before they go back up to 175.00. They don't really ever have sales so its the lowest you'll see for awhile.

SideNote: I attempted to go with OSS Designs but it seems they don't care to get back in contact with their potential customers.

Thanks for replys

Apologies for late response, been a little busy.

So LUX would be just a straight swap of bulbs am I right?

Has anyone actually done this to an E92 and have before/after pics? A little much to ask for but worth a shot i guess!

Thanks again.

Go to his website, plug-and-play angel eyes have been done on E92's thousands of times (literally). A few seconds on google took me to this video. About halfway through he starts demoing the AE removal process. LUX sends a great written DIY guide with his products that leaves pretty much nothing to the imagination.

I changed mine to white by changing bulbs. Looks great. Cheap and easy mod.
