Suspension specialist Manchester

Hi All,

As title really, any recommendations in or around Manchester preferable who knows BMW setup ?
Had some KW V1 fitted to my M135i last month but the fitter wasn't a BMW specialist and since then I'm having some issues so want to take it to a suspension specialist rather then jack of all trades sort of garage.

Had the car briefly looked at by Darren Woods in Stockport and even though they said the fitting looks ok but I still feel more of a body roll than the standard setup and had a scare moment on motorway today when I had to brake from a decent speed and the back end felt like going to break away, so need to get this sorted on priority basis now.

Before anyone say Daren wood, I've already asked them and they are booked till the end of next month so need to know other places, don't mind travelling to the right place.

Any pointer guys ?

Can't help with garages but did you get an alignment done after the suspension install?
I ask because when I fitted my Bilstein B12 kit my car's back end was all over the shop until I had a proper alignment carried out.

Alignment is absolute essential after changing suspension. My car was all over the place when I had mine changed (once when I fitted BC coilovers and then again when I fitted my Airlift setup).

Alignment was done after the installation so that's out of question.

Any suggestions about a suspension specialist in north west preferably who knows the BMW rear wheel set up.

Worn ball joints can cause the alignment to go out. I had a lower rear ball joint badly worn and the car wasn't good on left hand bends, probably because it put the toe out.

How was the suspension aligned, a garage with a Hunter machine can quickly double check your current setup if needs be. It's much more accurate than a 4 wheel laser jobby.
