My M3 is debadged and i am fairly proud of the engine size! In Germany most BMW's are debadged - people don't like shouting about what they have (or don't have) under their bonnet.

Debadge all the way.

I don't like de-badging generally but if I was driving a 318 they would be gone. (Sorry just being honest!)

You might be able to but 99.99% of people won't have a clue.

My previous 325d was debadged and I reckon about 50% of people who spoke to me about it thought it was an M3 (not joking).

I de-badged my 335xi and never looked back - I think it makes the rear end more symmetrical and clean. I could give a crap less what other people think - it's my car. Even if I had a 328i I would de-badge it and not because I am "ashamed" of the engine size.

Nothing wrong with a 318 or it's badge. My first BMW was a 318is and I was proud of it. It was a great car.

I think most enthusiasts clock it quickly when they are de-badged that there is usually only one reason. Leave it on!

All three of my E91s have been debadged, two 335d and one 330d, as was her 118d when we got it

They look heaps better without the badges

The original owner of my car ordered it debadged... I think you have to pay extra for that, I cant remember.
Its a 335i with the twin pipes so that should be enough for anyone remotely interested in BMWs to tell the diference but I want MORRRE. I'd rather my car wasn't confused with smaller engine versions, so I'm going to order a gloss black 335i badge soon to match the exterior colour. Atleast that way it will be badged but not too obvious.

I debadged mine (a 330d). Looks much cleaner, and that's the main reason to change.

Nah...had my 335i debadged as a factory option. Looks better and is easier to clean.

Don't really care if they can't tell with the pipes. They'll know when you scream by at 6k rpm
