Any knowledgeable people on tire pressure? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys,
Just out of curiosity I have BMW performance rims 19" (style 269)
with a staggered setup. Recently moved to Michelin super sport tires. Back is 265/30/19 and the front 225/30/19. just wondering if this is a decent setup, also what good tire pressure I should keep it at. Because these tires are not RFTs I chose to up the tire pressure to 34 psi all around. Thanks in advance for the input.

The size 225/30R19 does not exist.

Do you mean for performance or comfort? For max grip you would want to get the tires warm, run a chalk or crayon stripe from the tread over the shoulder and on to the sidewall, do some hard cornering and look at the mark and ensure that you are using the full amount of your contact patch without roll over. If the stripe on the sidewall is getting rubbed away then you need to add pressure until the marks wear to the edge of the tread but not onto the sidewall. That is the easiest way without an expensive pyrometer, and is best done at the track or an auto-x.
