Want to buy the BMW Parts Catalog

Do you guys know what the name of the application is for the BMW Parts Catalog for all models/years? Basically looking for what the BMW parts department uses.

That would be handy for retrofits
No clue about their software, but you would also most likely need access to their network since that is all live info.

TIS is the software that has part numbers and instructions on how to install all the parts. You can download it from most torrent sites but I think it requires 32 bit XP to run.
You don't need to be on any network to use this but you can get the same info from sites like realoem or some BMW dealerships that have an online store for parts.

We pay an annual subscription for our Volvo parts catalog so I figured BMW had something similar. Thanks guys.

Wow so it is all self contained? What happens when one part # is phased out with a new one? They release a new TIS version?

I think they get updates like INPA does but yes, they do have several versions.

BMW Dealerships use ETK, it's available in a number of places.

It's on a DVD and it is updated every month.

RealOEM uses the data on ETK and puts it into a web based version but the real ETK application has alot more features like part supersession maps and such.
