Welcome to another E91 owner! Much like you, I sold my Subi Outback in favor of the E91, what an amazing upgrade, couldn't be happier. Best of luck with the new ride, wagons rock!

Cool! Good to meet a couple Subiephiles.
I still love the brand, and will undoubtedly buy another one. My wife's dead-set on a 2013 3.6R, we drove a 2011 and 2012 and she's got her heart set on it. 2013 has some nice revisions, as well. |

I really liked my 2.5 5MT Outback. If Subaru offered in a V6 with a manual, I might not have bought the E91. However, I'm glad I went BMW. The only two downsides are slightly less cargo space, and a drop in MPG. However, the upsides, particularly power, handling, and creature comforts, are awesome. Plus, I'm having fun styling it. Waiting for a new set of wheels and some other mods to arrive

It's a drop in power, for me, since I have a GT (Limited, but that's just leather and sunroof, plus an incorrigible A/C-integrated radio head unit that's impossible to make sound better). 250hp stock, but I've got a Cobb stage 1 flash right now, and had planned on stage 2 plus a tune, after I got an exhaust turboback.
But, I have been feeling less and less like modding, now that I'm mid-30s and too busy. I only own one car, and it needs to be my daily driver. I've not done a single mod on the GT, beyond the Cobb flash and a rear swaybar, in over three years. 130K on it, it runs just fine but..........I don't know. Felt like trying something different. The 328 is a wagon, which is awesome, and I really didn't mind the Steptronic. I just really wish it had the Sport package, but oh well. Maybe I can find grey leather seats. I know I can always get a steering wheel and suspension setup, again if I feel like it. |

Should be picking it up this coming Tuesday (or Wednesday), I can't wait. I had a buyer on my Subie that had backed out, but found another guy today who drove it and loved it. He's got his loan pre-approved and hopefully will call me tomorrow with good news.

Bought it last night!
![]() So far, my impression is that the car is very strange. But, remember I'm coming from 12 years of Subaru ownership, preceded by a few years of Hondas. This being my first German car, it's just............well, strange. ![]() However, the interior quality and all of that is great, as you all know, plus the size and shape of the 3 wagon are wonderful. I really, REALLY missed having a hatchback, and it's great to get back in one! I'll try and get some better shots with the good camera over the weekend. |
