Greetings to all.

I am new to this forum and have been searching looking for advice. I am considering purchasing a 2010 328i with 35k miles. I would be happy to provide links to the online Carfax

so that I might take advantage of your learned opinions. I understand it is difficult to comment without seeing the car, inspecting etc. but I imagine this group has ALOT of advice.

What do I want to know? From what you can tell, is this a good decision? I have the opportunity to purchase a 2011 328i with 57k miles, but backed away due to the high mileage accrued in one year. Apologizing intensely for the uber-Newb-ness of this post, and the fact that I am offending the nostrils with the smell of green coming off of me, but I had to ask.

Don't do it. It was a rental, and the oil was changed only twice it looks like. If the renters bagged on the car the engine might not be in the best shape.

Ha! I bought that 2011 with 57k for 24000 with no tacked on dealer doc fees. Beautiful car....even inside the oil fill cap looks good, with no carbon build-up. I like the fact that it has no sunroof, but am converting it to a sport package car and going from there. Stickshift, low option cars are my favorite!

Not bad, but i didn't really give them a chance to do anything odd...Cash deal, no financing/warranty, so it didnt get strange
