I'd love to see how those black lci tail lights look on a car... might not look great on mine.. but if I plan to do black wheels and black out all chrome on my SG car.. it might look good... would love for a pic of them installed on a car with dark color tone.

Vendors are lazy may be. One size fits all.

For this reason the rep M3 rear and M3 sideskirts look rediculous on E90.

Sideskirts have the ridge ending somewhere 2/3 to the rear door, which is obviously wrong.

Rear bumer looks silly as it extends too low on sides (original just rounds up nicely), has too much detail in it, has some sculpted diffusor which sedan doesn't, etc. As a result it looks worse than original, worse than stock, etc. For this reason M sport owns this kit.

As for tails - why go through all the trouble replicating the LCI tails and yet, not do a blackline! That would truly be a light to consider - LCI LEDs which fit pre-LCI in the popular blackline style. I dunno, whoever does these obviously isn't aware of what's actually popular and is missing out on quite a bit of cash.

It's just another option... not EVERYONE likes blacklines...

I don't like blacklines, actually. It's just that i don't like the red in tail lights... i'd rather the bulb, itself, light up red rather than shining through a red window.

In addition, i wouldn't participate in this group buy either, at least not for the red ones. On the MARZ website, they also have smoked ones... which i would consider, only i would probably modify those too by removing the face, and painting the housing black (since they're LED, it should still be pretty bright).

Everyone has their own tastes, and the consumer doesn't always go for the cheapest option obviously.

You have to check with the person who posted the product. It should be far lower than retail as it is direct from the country of origin and you would have to deal with customs and shipping. Extra work but may be a lot cheaper.

$450?! When I got my car I put some tape on some of the white and sprayed red VHT on that area...$7 got me my "Lci" tails lol

Ive used some red tint(s) on mine. They look great but I do like the LCI tube lighting design.
