I dont know if anyone remembers me but I posted a dyno awhile back with my stage 1 AA tune results on my 2011 328xi, Which got me 205WHP(with a few other mods). I decided to give Stage 2 a try. I called Andrew at active and I decided, with his guidance to purchase the Simon tool in order to upgrade to the Stage 2 version of the tune. All I can really say is the customer support at Active is easily one of the best experiences I have ever encountered. I was primarily helped by Andrew and Zack and they both are an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Although this is just day 1 of the tune, I can already feel a pretty big difference between Stage 1 and 2. The car is ABSOLUTLEY more responsive and even more powerful than before. I will check back in after a few more days and after I get a dyno. However anyone with the Stage 1 tune right now, I highly recommend upgrading. Its a very noticable difference.

Anyway, I need to just reiterate how awesome of an experience I had dealing with these guys. They were pretty much on the phone with me every step of the way and helped me in every single aspect. Even when I called 5 times in a row Andrew nor Zack ever got annoyed, only looked to help and guide me through any concerns or issues I was having.


I will report back in a few days (hopefully with a dyno) to let you guys know how its going. Otherwise I could not be happier with my decision and I will use Active for all my BMW tunes in the future, for sure!

I agree it's definitely worth the $100 upgrade cost.

It's not breathtaking (going from stage 1 to stage 2) but you can definitely tell a difference.
