19x9.5 / 19x10.5 on E92

Coming from an Evo where everyone tries to squeeze the widest wheel/tire combo possible on under their fenders. I'm still in that mode of thought. It seems like the BMW crowd tends to be a little more conservative. Looking at pictures I would think 19x9.5 / 19x10.5 would fit, fender rolling would probly be necessary, but that's no big deal. I'm ordering an 08' E92 335i so I cant go measure. I want to get all my mods together so it's all ready to go once I take delivery.

So, my question is; for those that are familiar with the car, do you see any problems fitting wheels this wide on an E92? I'm thinking the best thing to do would stay pretty close to stock when it comes to offsets. I would be using 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 tires front/rear.

What do you think? Is this doable?

use 9's front and 10's rear with 245 front and 265 rear. With conservative offsets youll be fine.

I understand where you are coming from. The E92 has less space under the rear fender compared with the E90. The one person I would ask is longtran who now has 19x10.5 with 275/30/19 rears on his E90. He also has an E92.

Looking around I've seen a couple people with E92's that have fit 10.5in wheels in the rear, so that doesn't look too tough. What I haven't found is anyone running 9.5in wheels in the front. Looking at the stock wheels there seems enough room to add 3/4in to the fender side. Now, since I dont have the car to measure, can anyone see any issues with the strut side?

285/30/19 on Coupe ?????

Guys,

I am also investigating replacement of the wheels on E92 coupe with sports package. My current plan is to install

Front Tyres: Pilot Sport 2 245/35/19 on 19" x 8.5" BBS CH.

Rear Tyres: Pilot Sport 2 275/30/19 on 19" x 9.5" BBS CH.

AHY has recently done a great job on their Coupe with H&R Sports springs and 5mm spacers on the rear axle. I understand from the text that AHY did not roll their fenders - but I'm not sure. And I would be very grateful if AHY would please confirm this.

HAS ANYONE INSTALLED 285/30/19 on a Coupe? And did they ROLL the FENDERS ?

Thanks in advance,
