Adding New Airbag Module to E90

Hi,
My friend's car has been involved in accident three times. I have heard that after three accidents, you change airbag module, or send your current one to some people who can reset it.

This friend has bought a new airbag module and now asking me, if I can code this new module to his car.

Can anybody point me in right direction? What would I require?
Winkp?
Any step by step instructions?

Thanks.

Garage List
Just speculation since I haven't tried, but have you looked to see if there are counters for the airbag module in Tool32?
There are counters, for instance, in the lighting module that turn off bulbs after too many short circuits.
Reset the counter and they work again.
Maybe something like that could work.

If you Flash the airbag module using winkpf is going to tell you if you can flash it depending of how many times it has been flashed, I believe it only allows you to do it 3 times.
Just so you know, you don't have to flash it everytime is involve in an accident just clear the codes.

You should be able to flash the airbag module much more than three times. Remember this is only if the UIF is written...
