Hope it works because if they widen it, I cant return it, and no one will buy it since it doesn't fit.
My build date is 02/07. Is the exhaust pipe a different size than all the other 328i's?

N51 n52? Pictures?

Nope we went over this a couple pages back bmw changed exhaust design on the n51 engines.

You will have to have it welded on.

You guys sure did go over it.
The shop is planning on expanding the opening of the exhaust. I'm no metal worker, does that even sound feasible?

The AA webpage only says the N51 requires pipe modification to fit. Does it fit the 330 without modification?

Love the sound, but as other mentioned, drones at 2~2.5k. I don't mind, but the wife sure does. I just shift to get out of the range if I'm cruising there.

Would rubber washers be an option to mitigate the drone?

I find it to be obnoxious when going up hill other than that I don't mind it, but the rest of my family hates being in the passenger seat

Where would you mount the washers? I would think that the exhaust hangers isloate the system from the body of the car.

When one of my Acura's had a drone from the factory they had a TSB to remove one of the muffler hangers (rubber thingys). Drone gone. I wonder if the same principle could be used here.

It's worth a try! Anyone willing to give that a go?

Anyone with a secondary cat delete that has the AA n52 exhaust? I just got the exhaust put on and I'm considering deleting my 2ndary cats but I don't want it to sound obnoxiously raspy or anything like that. A little extra noise would be completely fine though.
