Does the "condensation" stay there all the time?? If so, I had a similar problem. It turned out not to be condensation at all, rather an issue with the plastic housing. If you are under factory warranty still, I would try to push for new ones.
If you know for a fact it's water condensation, remove the bulb and blow warm air with a blow drier inside at low speed. Be careful, take the dryer away every few seconds until it is gone, then let it sit for a few hours. Then reinstall the bulbs. |

Fairly easy. You just have to bend back the wheel well fender liner. Undo a few bolts under the front bumper, the bolts in the fender liner, and peel it back. The bulb just rotates out.

OP it's an easy process, just search for the foglight DIY.

this is what the fog light looks like: i asked a friend who's also a mechanic and he took a look at it and told me it was a pinched o-ring and it just needed replacing. so since i couldn't get a new o-ring separately, i just ordered new gp thunder 7500k fogs. i just took all the screws out and took the fog light bulb out and it looks fine, not sure how it is pinched: either way, i'm going to use that blow drier method for a bit and leave it for a few hours. but the bulb doesn't look damaged... what else could it be then? also, i was following the DIY video for fog light replacement, and one of the screws at the bottom of the front bumper just wasn't there to begin with. this isn't too important, is it? thanks |

When I took mine in to get the brake fluid flushed, I had condensation in my fogs, but not nearly as bad. They said that the housing automatically vents, but mine was not that bad, only just a little in the corners.

Wow there is actually a pool of water at the bottom of the housing..... That's why the blow dryer wasn't working.. I'm gonna try to take it out with paper towels or something.. What could that be from?

it appears it was not sealed correctly at some point. after the water (not condensation, at this point) is removed, make sure the fog light is sealed correctly. GL

Alright well I took most of the water out with paper towels... Then used the blow dryer.... It works but you have to be veryyy patient with it... Few drops left so overall success

its crazy how the slightest little pin hole will allow a mass amount of condesation to enter the light housing.
When i took apart my LCI halogens to paint them, i ran into a similar problem trying to recreate a seal... turns out the culprit was a small pin hole just barely bigger than something a sewing needle could make... this made it where my headlight looked like your fog light. The condensation will react to the blow dryer, it just takes a lot of time with something that doesn't produce that much heat... i have a cheap heat gun i got at home depot (cost me $20) and it heats up pretty good. if your car is under warranty i'm sure they can replace it... if not, you might be able to save some time and effort by taking the fog light out and putting some RTV silicone around the edge of the connections so you make a good seal... |
