has anyone done those "white" tail lights on the lci? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

just curious if anyone has made clear covers for the e92 lci tail lights. i can't tell if i think it looks cool on the f10, but i was just thinking about what it would look like on an e92; or if it will even work?

prob would never do it myself but it'd be cool to see

if you smoke the lights, and add a clear coat, it should look pretty damned good on a black or gray car.

i'd really like to know where to buy just the clear face to them; i'd bake my tail lights apart and paint the housing to look like that (the photoshopped blacked out version)... looks effin sick!

This is an example of an OEM mod that leaves me scratching my head. I just don't like it all...and most guys who do it here drive black F10s, so the contrast is even stronger.

On the other hand, however, I do think it is cool that BMW is willing to put OEM mods out there like this. Choice is always great, and modding a car, almost by definition, means polarizing opinions about the aesthetics compared to OEM spec that is designed to appeal to as many as possible.
