FS: Advan RS 18" Wheels / Michelin Tyres
I am selling the wheels and tyres previously used on my 2009 E90 LCI sedan. The wheels and tyres were purchased in 2009 and remained on the car for less than 12 months and 7000km. The wheels/tyres are the same size front and rear and are an excellent fit on E92 coupe and 2008 or later E90 LCI sedan. They will also fit on 2007 and earlier E90 sedan, but not quite as close fitting on the rear fenders as the later cars.
These wheels are extremely light and strong. They are made using flow-forming manufacturing process. The price for wheels and tyres sold together is $2000 (Not negotiable). I am looking for a local buyer who is able to do local pickup. I don't have the time to deal with courier companies. WHEELS Brand/Model: Advan RS Size: 18x8.5" ET32 Country of manufacture: Japan Weight of rims: 7.7kg each (manufacturer spec) Weight including tyres: 19.5kg (measured on scales) Condition: Excellent. No dents or bends. Completely free from scrapes. There are small some chips in the paint around the bolt holes as pictured. The paint clear coat may have superficial scratches, but very hard to spot unless close examination in good light. For more info go to: http://www.advanwheels.com.au/wheels/wheel.aspx?id=4 TYRES Brand/Model: Michelin Pilot Preceeda PP2 Size: 235/40/18 95W XL Country of manufacture: Japan Date of Manufacture: February 2009 (date code is 0809) Km traveled: 7000. Condition: Appears to have full tread depth. No uneven wear. Last edited by John_01; 08-01-2012 at 09:14 PM. |

Non-staggered setup is best for handling and reducing understeer!
Seriously I got these because they were the lightest and best looking 18" wheels I could find. I didn't want to carry around another 2kg rotating mass per wheel just so I could have cool looking fat rubber. If you prefer staggered tyres, its possible to put 255/35/18 on these rims for the rear. It won't be stretched, but will be an ideal fitment on pre-LCI cars. Might be close to rubbing with 255/35/18 on a LCI E90, depending on ride height and the tyre brand. |

I guess with 215/40/18 tyres all round. Or maybe 225/40/18 and some camber. If someone wants to put them on a 125i just for kicks I wouldn't blame them.

Just not sure if the 255 will 'bulge' too much. |

Honestly I reckon that 255s would need a widebody kit to fit on the 1er. 235/40/18 would probably go on the rear with a heavy fender roll. 225/40/18 and camber plates would most likely be needed for the front. You may need to keep your stock rims for RTA inspection though.

These rims have offsets selected for 3 series. With 1 series it would be totally up to the buyer to know what they are doing in terms of customised fitment and fender mods if needed. |
