CSL trunk installed - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Got the Alpine trunk 2X2 CF. I got it painted except for the top edge and around the license plate like everyone does. Only have to get my rotors on and I'm gonna get a pro photoshoot done soon. Just happy about the trunk and figured I'd postwhore some more pics. I suck so bad with a camera.

I couldn't find a single thread about this trunk. Maybe because searching brought up Alpine white, lol. But for anyone with this one in mind...it fits perfect. All the holes were pre-drilled. I had to dremmel a couple spots (normal with all the trunks from what I read)....the key hole. I had to file down to get the license plate lights to snap in.

Anyway...FINALLY have my ass done...damn, it's a lot of shit. Can't wait till I can get a good photoshoot...especially capture the angels.

Man...the CSL trunk just looks soooo much better in person. Pictures can not do this piece justice...

Wow....great looking setup. I'm loving the CSL trunk as it doesn't appear to have too high of kick. Can we get more angles of the trunk? How's the fitment? Great work my friend.

Looks good man! It's pretty surprising how much of a diff the csl trunk makes to the overall look of the car. It's something you have to see in person.

Yeah I'll get some more shots/angles. I just wanted to show off a few until I get someone who knows how to use a camera. The damn sun was still poking up a little so you can't see it good.

The fitment is great. I haven't seen other trunks to compare as far as how high it is. Like I said tho....it looks sooooo much better in person.

I finally saw one in person the other day and that made up my mind and I bought it right after. It sets the car off more than anything else...except maybe wheels/stance.

Looks really good. Best angle to capture the trunk is from about 15 feet away from the rear with the camera at a height around the rear rounded height. You should drive down and meet up with our Bimmerpost Houston group sometime!

Yeah I want to get out to one of your meets. I'm waiting till it cools down and there's not 500 million bugs f'ing up my bumper on the way out....

Maybe you guys can get some good shots of it...and without some bright ass sun...
