FS-AFE sealed Air box with carbon fiber cover
FS I have only had this installed for 2 months perfect condition with extra new filter. MSSRP $489.99 but selling for $350 preffer local pick up to oceanside, escondido, carlsbad, temecula, and san deigo. pm me for pix with your email Stage 2 Sealed Intake produces 12HP, 15LBS. x FT. of torque and outflows the factory intake by 56%. The sealed housing features two auxiliary air inlet ducts for increased airflow. To finish off your underhood appearance, an attractive vacuum formed ABS plastic cover with carbon fiber finish is used to provide easy access to the filter for servicing and an aggressive look. |

How did you like it on your car? Have they resolved the issues aFe had with the previous intake, considering this is a closed box?

I actually like the nice tone it gives after 2-3k the pick up is great but I like eom route I use to have a s2000 and tired of having to swap things in n out comes emission time. the carbon fiber is cool but not my thing. I'm not familiar with any issues? I'm just concern it's pending ca emission approval. Still iffy about selling I want to buy the euro intake not sure yet... Let me know if your interested ill send you some pics

I am considering putting a cold air intake on my '06 328i but I have no clue what I need to consider. Is there anyone who would like to provide me with any information that will help me possibly make my final decision? Like I said, I am lost when it comes to upgrades and maintenance to a BMW.

Basic bolt ons are a must if you ask me. I have had many cars going further than a tune after bolt ons is not recommend unles you track your car. I use to go crazy with cams etc and always had problem. Stick to intake, exhaust, suspension if you don't have the sport package, rims, and a tune.

Would you pm me a price shipped to 71913 and include a pic of the intake with a piece of paper with your forum name written on it?

hey i also have the same front bumper as you... and at this time im still looking for a good splitter addition.
My top choice so far is the current slitter you have on. But im afraid its too low for the bumpy roads in my area. :0( How much clearance do you have... your sig picture is abit small for me to see. lol btw is your car's height; stock, sports suspension, or lowered? and do you have to constantly drive the car carefully due to its low height and or drive at an angle to go over speed bumps? ty the car overall looks great |

Hey, here is a pic of my car: I don't have much clearance, I can hardly get down my driveway to the street without angling my car lol. I have scraped the underside quite a few times already, and I have only had it for several months. I always need to go slow in the speed bumps, or angle the car....its kinda silly. Its drama to say the least...and I am on stock suspension. If I lower my car, its going to turn into a shovel. |
