SGM, E92 [UPDATE: M3 rep fog delete]

Just wanted to share 2 photos of my car sporting the M3 replica front bumper and M3 replica side skirts...

MTech rear bumper next, followed by new black 19" wheels!

BTW, anyone know a good site to get smoked side markers for the E92 from?

Very Nice. Just go to a local tint shop and have them throw some tint over your sidemarkers. Any competent shop should be able to do it. I did it. It cost me all of $10.

hmmmm You are saying regular window tint film or some sort of spray on? If it's the former, I can take a hack at it, since I still have some left over 35% tint from when I installed the tint on the car.

Thanks! Note taken, as for the suspension first. The car has the sports package, so I guess you are referring to coilovers? If so, what you recommend for 19" wheels? I want NO RUBBING though. That's what she said! lol No seriously, I don't want too much of a drop where I would have issues with rubbing on the fenders, etc.

I am dropped on H&R sport springs and the drop is perfect IMO. Coilovers are great for adjusting exactly to your preference and if you are tracking the car. I had coils on my B6 Audi A4 and never adjusted them so in my case, they were a waste of money.

Whether you rub or not has a lot to do with the width and offset of your wheels. If you plan on going with an aggressive width and offset you won't be able to go too low with rubbing and modification of fender rolling and camber adjustment.

Good luck!

Well if you're on your stock springs those will be worn out much quicker.

OP, give me your bumper.

Thanks for the tips! Tomorrow I will tell you what specs I plan on getting as far as wheels/tires go. I agree, I don't see the need for me to get coilovers for just a daily driver.

I plan on putting up the OEM one up for sale soon with OEM fogs as well. Stay tuned for that thread along with pics.

Maybe you didn't comprehend my post but I have H&R sport springs. Maybe you meant struts in which I have Koni yellow sports.

dude i read this post and its EXACTLY the same as how i have mine, AND i was gonna do mtech bumper and get 19'' black wheels next too. crazy man.

Except I have the csl trunk on rn and a fog delete on the front bumper but still real fresh! lookin good. I'm really not sure whether to get wheels first or the mtech bumper first. What are you going to get first?

Great minds think alike! haha

Actually, my next mod is the smoked side markers since I ordered them today. Haha But after that, I'm definitely doing a fog lights delete. I really like the look without them. As for what next. I think the Mtech rear bumper will be next or the vented hood.

Thanks! The amazing thing is that the painter has never seen my car! Hahaha I gave him the paint code and just take the parts to him for painting and I install them myself at home. Color match is spot on every time. As for the fitment, I have to say I've been golden. No issues so far on my installs.

And, great prices on the paint jobs too! Can't complain. lol

Oh okay, where did you order those smoked sidemarkers? I heard the aftermarket ones have fitment problems so alot of people just tint their oem ones. Im not sure what I wanted to do yet. But I think i'm going to go mtech rear first because thats it the cheaper option and i want to just get that out of the way!
