Use a larger piece. Don't try to cut the exact size because it'll just frustrate you trying to get it to fit perfectly. Use an exacto knife, no scissors. Heatgun if you feel that it's necessary.

OP, what makes you want to cover up that chrome that goes so well with your rims and black paint and tint? My car looks same as yours and I thought about doing this also at one time but I think with the tint it actually compliments the car so I never did it.

I took my car to a couple of shops to get this done and they both said the bottom chrome trim is to close to the paint to guarantee no scrapes. Did anyone who did this have any problems with their paint getting scraped from the knife when cutting the vinyl?
