Be careful whatever you buy. Sometimes the gate staff can be really savage with Ryanair cabin bags. I have seen it lots of times where people have had to leave stuff behind, in the bin, as the gate staff have made them empty bags to fit into the gauge. Notably at Birmingham airport to Eastern European destinations (which are usually there at the time I'm flying), but also at East Midlands.
- By the time you are boarding, it's too late to go back to check-in to pay through the nose for extra hold baggage. Mike |

If your bag is too big (even by a thou) its a £50 charge and there's no budging them whatsoever!!
